Interview With Mario Gully

Hello internet. Its another Monday morning and time for another NEW-GEN Spotlight. Today we talk to Mario Gully, he’s a writer and artist in comic books and is best known for his self created character Ant, about a young girl ’s fantasy to become the hero she has always dreamed she could be and the struggle she has getting there coming up with a very difficult life at home.

We have a good time talking to Mario and he has a lot to say on what he thinks works and doesn’t work in the comic book industry, why comics aren’t considered a legitimate form of artwork here in the US and why the word geek might very well be the problem with that legitimization.
